路加福音 20：21～25

²¹奸細就問耶穌說：「夫子，我們曉得你所講所傳都是正道，也不取人的外貌，乃是誠誠實實傳神的道。²²我們納稅給該撒，可以不可以？」²³耶穌看出他們的詭詐，就對他們說：²⁴「拿一個銀錢來給我看。這像和這號是誰的？」他們說：「是該撒的。」²⁵耶穌說：「這樣，該撒的物當歸給該撒，神的物當歸給神。」

Luke 20:21-25

(KJV)  ²¹And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person of any, but teachest the way of God truly: ²²Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no?  ²³But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt ye me? ²⁴Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered and said, Caesar’s. ²⁵And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar’s, and unto God the things which be God’s.

(NIV)  ²¹So the spies questioned him: “Teacher, we know that you speak and teach what is right, and that you do not show partiality but teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. ²²Is it right for us to pay taxes to Caesar or not?”  ²³He saw through their duplicity and said to them, ²⁴“Show me a denarius. Whose image and inscription are on it?” “Caesar’s,” they replied. ²⁵He said to them, “Then give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”
